Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an accountant in the CONSTRUCTION, MANUFACTURING or ENERGY industry, preferably in a senior role.
- 5 years of experience with MS Dynamics, SAP, Epicor, NetSuite, or a similar ERP system.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in Excel and other accounting software and tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented mindset.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial planning.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports and provide analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee inventory, cost, and asset management systems and processes, and optimize them for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and achieve business objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to the finance and accounting team.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounting and finance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.
