NOW CFO is seeking an experienced Director of Accounting to grow our Kansas City market.
As a Director, you will provide consulting services while growing and nurturing a thriving market. The day-to-day responsibilities of our Directors is to provide top service to clients while helping to identify solutions for new prospects.
To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), experience with risk management, as well as have a passion for mentoring others to excel and grow within their choses career.
This position in hybrid/on-site in the Kansas City area
This Position Requires 3 Main Skillsets

Responsibilities
Develop a client base to ensure ongoing revenue generation for NOW CFO.
Manage and mentor a team of consultants.
Manage and mentor business development rep(s).
Expectation of 50% of total time spent billable.
Expectation of 50% of total time spent generating a new book of business.
Relying on corporate support to attract additional team members as the market grows.
Set the market's strategy and direction.
Support the market's culture.
Participate, oversee and drive team to achieve mutually agreed upon market revenue, sales, meeting goals.
Qualifications
B.S./ B.A in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
C.P.A /M.B.A highly preferred.
5 - 7 years preparing financial documents such as business reports, financial statements and forecast to understand the financial state of the market (preferably in a public accounting setting).
Previous experience in management.
Strong preference managing international teams.
Understand the financials of a company in order to meet legal requirements
Strong integrity and accountability.
Strong communication and organization skills.
Strong negotiation skills.
Ability to handle pressure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
