Staff Accountant- Placement

Pay: $30 dollars an hour

Schedule: Full time, Onsite in Murray, UT

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our client located in Murray, UT. This role will be between 32-35 hours a week and is a permanent opportunity. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong background in accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and accruals
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, preparing payments, and maintaining vendor records
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with Multi - entity and inter-company transactions
- Support the external audit and tax filing processes
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analyses as needed

Qualifications:
- Experience with intercompany and multi entity accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
