Plant Manager – Manufacturing/Assembly
Location: Trevose, PA

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing facilities, managing a team of employees and completing challenging projects. The Plant Manager will also interface with all engineering and manufacturing teams to execute daily operations and implement process improvements.
Essential Job Functions:
- People leader and mentor/coach. Responsible for performance reviews and feedback.
- Maintain Employee Engagement at high levels, including through regular all-employee meetings and communications.
- Partner with Director of Operations to develop and execute strategic plans.
- Coordinates hiring/headcount plans with HR.
- Coordinates safety initiatives to continuously reduce workplace risks and environmental impacts.
- Provide direct oversight of manufacturing, quality control and maintenance functions of the operation, assuming lead responsibility for quality, on-time delivery, productivity, continuous improvement and cost improvement.
- Work closely through facilitation and shared engineering experiences and skills to improve and streamline new product introduction to production processes.
- Takes action to correct unsatisfactory conditions which may arise in any phase of the business operations and directs necessary actions to accomplish forecasted objectives.
- Provides clear leadership on issues related to asset management, including management of inventory levels of critical assets within targets.
- Analyzes production capacity against demand projects to identify bottlenecks and proactively resolves them through use of Lean Concepts/5S, procurement of additional assets, or both.
- Drives development of talent throughout the team and ensures viable succession plans for key team members.
- Other duties as identified and assigned.
Qualifications Include:
- Military Veteran or Family Member preferred but not required.
- Five years of experience in a manufacturing/assembly focused facility.
- Participation in the lighting, invertor or similar industry is a plus.
- The ability to work in a team environment, with regular exposure to both hourly and salaried personnel.
- The ability to manage a high level of detail in an organized and timely manner.
- A flexible management style capable of dealing with others in a humble and empathetic manner.
- Resourceful, organized, and positive demeanor.
- Capable of achieving results in a self-directed, self-motivated, environment.
