Job Description:

Noxubee Medical Complex is looking for a Materials/Purchasing Clerk to join our team in Macon, MS.

Job duties:

  • Inventory management: Record and maintain control of all inventory items purchased.
  • Check and review daily stock levels to achieve a balance between supplies on-hand, and usage.
  • Assist with vendor quotes and services to determine the best suppliers.
  • Assist with filling and delivering requisition request.
  • Assist with processing purchase orders and invoices.
  • Assist with maintaining the electronic inventory/order system as well as all manually produced records and purchase orders.
  • Assist in receiving, tagging and stocking supplies in the designated storage areas.
  • Assure that all storage areas are maintained and clean in an orderly fashion.
  • Assist the Purchasing Manager with ordering, filling and maintaining all vending machines. This includes stocking and updating machines as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree-Preferred
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to multitask

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $10.01 per hour
