Job Description
Responsibilities :
Develop plant maintenance programs to achieve production and quality goals.
Lead reliability engineering efforts to ensure continuous improvement in production reliability. Identify innovative technological solutions.
Develop and implement measurement criteria to assess the effectiveness of maintenance programs and cost containment goals. Develop and manage a unit maintenance budget.
Establish and maintain safe work practices and environmental compliance.
Utilize SAP and other maintenance systems to help drive continuous improvement in the maintenance program.
Develop and implement improvements to maintenance management practices.
Will supervise a Maintenance Planner, Technicians and oversee maintenance contractors working in the unit.
Assure implementation of best practices throughout the plant.
Qualifications
Requirements :
Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Ideally Mechanical) or equivalent. CMRP certification a plus.
Experience in managing a maintenance team in a manufacturing environment.
5 years experience from chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing or related process industries would be ideal.
Knowledgeable in maintenance, reliability, preventative maintenance and root cause failure analysis
Knowledge of CMMS/ SAP a plus.
Strong equipment troubleshooting and problem solving ability.
Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
