Architect, design, develop, test, maintain and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 application software for the home services industry. Must possess excellent communication skills as you will interact directly with our customers to determine requirements and deliver quality software that exceeds their expectations.

Leads a team of ~5 D365 functional consultants to deliver defect-free, well-designed, and well-tested software.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• The MS D365 Solution Architect/Functional Lead maps specific business requirements to the functions of the MS D365 Finance & Operations system
• Effectively manage resources and costs through a Dynamics AX 2012 to D365 Finance & Operations migration project, twinned with a D365 Customer Engagement Platform implementation
• Apply knowledge to develop in and around the D365F&O solution as well as govern over and end to end solution design
• Works closely with the D365 CRM lead to ensure a quality product and well-integrated solution
• Works with executive and senior leaders to create and maintain an operating plan to achieve the strategic vision and operating platform that defines the people, processes, tools, and technology
• Partners with business and technology partners to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into technical requirements
• Plays a key role in leveraging partners and Microsoft Global Delivery as part of the overall Microsoft services delivery model
• Must apply advanced analysis skills and experience in principles of the D365 ERP Solution to provide detailed reliable solutions and estimates for service implementations
• Analyzes, documents, and tests program development, logic, process flows, and specifications
• Partners with business partners to design and monitor user acceptance testing
• Documents user manuals to describe application installation and operating procedures
• Coordinates the project resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Responsible for adhering to delivery methodology and project lifecycles
• Strong knowledge of waterfall, iterative, and agile project planning and management
• Responsible for managing onshore and offshore tactical and project teams made up of both technical and functional resources
• Maintains Business Process Models and Catalogs
• Identifies solution gaps and develops solution options
• Establishes an overview of the requirements defined by internal stakeholders including the definition of business, technical, and architectural requirements
• Recognizes any inconsistencies, assumptions, and critical elements
• Designs the end-to-end functional architecture and solution design
• Documents, proposes, and discusses the architecture and solution options, recommendations, and implications
• Facilitates and accelerates the decision process considering the company’s business strategy, drivers and requirements, pain points, and challenges with the industry trends
• Provides oversight at various points throughout the program lifecycle including experience in multi-phase/multi-dimensional/multi-resource programs
• Possesses strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail
• Possesses strong organizational, prioritization, planning, and follow up skills
• Oversee the technical design process to ensure functional designs have been interpreted accordingly and that requirements have been met with no gaps
• Adhere to PCI, NACHA, SOX, and ITCG Compliance and Controls

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Minimum 10 years experience working with enterprise-class CRM & ERP systems
• Strong knowledge & experience of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 CU13 and Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&O
• Experience in application development through the full application lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation, and operations
• Experience with coding, scripting, and/or configuration
• Experience as a project manager with a passion for delivering on-time, on-budget, on-scope
• Experience in software evaluation, selection, requirements gathering, and implementation
• Experience in budget management
• Experience in IT vendor management
• Experience in Cloud and on-premise hosted solutions stacks
• Experience in Azure DevOps
• Experience with Business Intelligence, Data Lakes, and reporting tools best practices and use
• Experience with enterprise-level microsite tools such as Site Core or related CMS systems or headless delivery systems
• Experience in a larger structured IT environment where best practices were learned but a passion for the speed of a smaller organization and the judgment to apply best practices that are appropriate
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 CU13 and Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&O and CE
• Strong communication skills capable of both working with highly technical resources as well as senior business leaders
• High energy level and a strong sense of urgency focused on delivery
• Strong judgement and analysis skills with a predisposition to identify and outline options for complex and/or impactful decisions
• Self-motivation driving continuous improvement

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

• Open office environment – Primary
• Evening and weekend work as job duties demand, especially in collaborating and syncing up with overseas partners
• Light Domestic Travel may be required
• Occasionally requires lifting up to 50lbs as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities in an office environment
