Corporate Director of Training

The Corporate Director of Training is responsible for onboarding all new hires to NSD.  They will work with all departments to build curriculum and manage a team of training managers for new hire training, and current up training.  They will also be responsible to staff and hire a full NSD training team.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the training department to ensure that each division at NSD has the appropriate trainers and training managers to lead the department.
  • Create curriculum with each department for all job functions at NSD
  • Train the trainer modules created for each business unit
  • Work with Human Resources on creating a seamless onboarding process
  • Create new training when onboarding new clients specific to their brand
  • Determine improvement areas and work with Senior Leaders to develop OJT documents to assist with daily job responsibilities.
  • Review client emails for new materials
  • Build curriculum for all facets of the organization
  • Work with compliance to create compliance specific training
  • Build a claims training program for processing and contact center staff
  • Hold calibration sessions with leadership on best-in-class practices
  • Travel to tradeshows for training and improving job knowledge
  • Site visits to see providers one on one to build upon relationships
  • Review all opportunities to better enhance current training materials
  • Oversee all leadership and staff of the training department
  • Handle breakout sessions with all leadership
  • Review processes with QA from each department to align expectations

 

Education and Work Experience:

  • 5 years of Training Management with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Strong understanding of a corporate and call center environment and the key levers to enhance performance and achieve targets.
  • Significant experience with developing others through coaching, actionable feedback, and hands-on leadership.
  • Must have great people skills, able to relate to and motivate people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Ability to identify discrepancies and take initiative to research variances and correct
  • Must be very proficient with inbound and outbound calls
  • Must have excellent analytic skills
  • Utilize problem solving and independent discretion.

 

Hours Required: 40 hours per week. Mon-Fri Some weekends some travel
