Terms of Employment
• This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity.
• This position can operate on a 100% remote basis. Candidates based in a commutable distance to Owings Mills, Maryland have the ability work onsite. With that said, it is not required.
• Candidates must be based on the East Coast.
Why you will love this role
Joining the Client Experience team, you will be working directly with the Business, Innovation, Operations, Commercial, and Leadership teams across the company to build and launch a mortgage marketing platform. You will work with stakeholders to define new products, features, and reports, along with iterations to existing products. You will play a crucial role in the launch of a new platform, new products, and building out the product teams within the company.
What you’d be doing
• Developing and releasing products, features, and reporting to launch our Mortgage Marketing Platform
• Defining and managing a backlog of enhancements
• Participating in backlog grooming and sprint planning
• Working with stakeholders across the company to document processes and procedures, requirements, test plans, UAT plans, and rollout planning
• Supporting rollouts of new and expanding applications, processes, projects
• Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of business operations, identifying opportunities for operational efficiency through automation and effective utilization of reporting & analytics tools critical for all business areas
• Owning and executing on the Product/Technology roadmap
• Working with external vendors and clients to document user feedback
• Assisting in project management efforts, coordinating tasks and timelines to ensure delivery within scope
• Systems testing
You’ve got what it takes if you
• Have four-to-eight years of experience working as a Product Owner or equivalent role eliciting and documenting requirements, use cases, and related documents
• Have experience working with engineering, product, and business teams
• Have experience with frontend testing tools and frameworks
• Have experience working with overseas technical resources
• Comfortable working in a startup environment – cross functionally, wearing multiple hats
You’ll really impress if you
• Have previous experience in a startup environment
• Have experience in the marketing and/or mortgage industry
• Have experience interfacing with clients and vendors leveraging top-notch customer service skills
