How you’ll make an Impact
Product Specialist provides deep product expertise needed to lead the organization and make strategic product decisions. They will own projects based on Ntiva’s roadmap and prioritize building what matters most to achieve the strategic goals and initiatives behind the product. The Product Specialist will have responsibility for defining competitive products and managed services as well as market requirements and acting as a product SME to the rest of the organization. The Product Specialist will lead cross-functional teams through business case, design, build and launch phases and overall product lifecycle management. The Product Specialist ensures the cloud MSP offerings stays current with customer needs, technology advancements, and competitive differentiation.
This position reports to the Director of Product Management.
Summary of Location and Hours
- This is a 100% remote position
- Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm – Any time zone
What you will be doing
- Provides comprehensive designs to address the company’s strategies, evaluates emerging technologies, develops and implements systems / architectures based on best practices. Ensures system integrity with regards to security and compliance guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to develop/enhance service products to deliver the needed business value ongoing; and understand market trends, supplier ecosystems, and internal policies and requirements
- Product Specialists provide the deep product expertise needed to lead the organization and make strategic product decisions.
- Independently resolve issues and assist team with overcoming obstacles related to new products and managed services
- Play a proactive role in product planning and design to ensure the product is differentiated from competitors in the marketplace via delivery method or feature set
- Create comprehensive product technology outlines to assess value, client impact and profitability
- Drive prioritization of requirements across product services in support of key customer use cases for the products
- Establish thought leadership in the domain of Cloud and managed services
- Ensure proper deployment, management, support is standardized across our organization
- Develop training for new offerings with proper methods for support and implementation.
- Support product releases by contributing FAQs, articles, blog posts, and contribute to whitepapers
- Understand business goals and drivers and translate those into appropriate technical solutions.
- Serve as single point of contact for the product offering/services/strategy/roadmap and interface with all Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer stakeholders
- Contribute to product marketing, positioning and GTM plans
- Recommend and assist in the implementation of security solutions based on selected products
- Assist Partner Manager with technology vendor partnerships aligned to products and services
You’ll be successful in this role if you have experience in/with
- At least 7 to 10 years of experience in the field of Information Technology, MSP experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline equivalent experience acceptable
- Leading Technical Industry Knowledge:
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft Office 365
- Apple Technology
- Networking
- On prem server environments
- Licensing
- Virtualization
- Prior hands-on in a help desk environment and consulting experience is preferred
- Desired certifications:
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
- Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator/Expert
- Experience with ConnectWise family of products or similar service management system is preferred
- Experience with cross functional department collaboration.
- Experience with developing business processes.
- Excellent organizational Skills
- Strong verbal/ written communication.

- Ability to write business correspondence and process procedures
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public

The base pay range for this position is expected to be between $75,000.00 and $110,000.00 per year, plus an annual on-target bonus. The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, and PTO. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
