What are the responsibilities and job description for the ETL Quality Analyst position at NTT DATA, Inc.?
Job Description
* Require 7 years of overall testing experience, and with at least 6 years as a Quality Engineer in Data warehouse and ETL projects.
* Experience in working on large scale data integration, data ingestion projects
* Hands on experience in assessing the business requirements and translating to specific Datastage job design.
* Provide clear documentation regarding the requirements gathered including the test plan and UAT test cases discussed with the users
* Ability to navigate through the DB and Datastage jobs/files to identity the root cause for the issue reported by business users/architect team
* Trace gaps in data back to the original source to address and resolve issues proactively
* Formulate applicable techniques to handle huge volume data loads to the DB
* Experience testing Data Warehouse, ETL, and Big Data environments and have defined test approaches for testing data warehouse projects
* Experience writing complicated SQL statements and PL/SQL code to test data flow and perform data analysis.
* Experience in root cause analysis, troubleshooting and defect diagnosis techniques
* Knowledge in testing Data Warehouse/Big Data in cloud environment such as Snowflake. Preferably in Azure Platform
* Knowledge in job scheduling tools such as Control-M, Maestro, Tivoli, Autosys etc....is nice to have
* Experience & Working knowledge of QA testing software, QA methodologies, tools, and processes preferred.
* Ability to adapt to new process & procedures in a seamless fast manner
