We are currently seeking a CCWIS Data Management Lead to join our team in Washington DC, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).
The DC CCWIS Data Management Lead is responsible for providing data management expertise to inform other project activities including daily QA / Test operations.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Analyze and translate business requirements into conceptual and fully detailed logical and physical data models.
- Work with solutions architects, subject matter experts, and data stewards and lead data discovery discussions to capture business requirements and map requirements to logical and physical data modeling solutions.
- Provide oversight to data management solutions.
- Identify and document business logic & mapping rules needed to transform data before loading it into the target system.
- Work with client Analytics and Business Intelligence teams to understand strategic requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 6 years' experience in data architecture, data management, data integrity and/or data warehousing
- Minimum 3 years' experience with HL7, FIHR or other healthcare data transmission standards
- Minimum 3 years' experience working Oracle and SQL, specifically on data conversions
- Minimum 3 years' experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRP and PowerPlatform
Preferred Skills:
- Strong experience in applying industry best practice for Data standardization, Data cleansing, Data Management, and Data Visualization.
- Fluent in both normalized and dimensional model disciplines and techniques.
- Hands-on experience with developing and implementing data conversion techniques and tools between Oracle and SQL
- Skills to assess and analyze existing database design solutions to ensure optimal designs for query performance.
- Knowledge of key Business Intelligence and Data Analytics tools, such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience in Data Transformation/ETL tools and technologies.
- Additional experience with healthcare data and analytics systems as well as BI and reporting
- Experience with rules management systems and business process modeling
- Knowledge of federal and state healthcare IT programs (i.e., CCWIS, Medicaid, CHIP, TANF)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage work to a defined schedule
