We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Nashville, TN, Tennessee (US-TN), United States (US).
Role Responsibilities
- Receives and controls onsite inventory
- Performs basic configuration of desktop / notebook equipment - following basic instructions
- Coordinates with Field Service Team for moving and setting up End User equipment
- Basic installation and maintenance of technical products
- Follows predefined procedures and tasks in everyday activities
- Work is regularly reviewed by a more senior level technical specialist
- Reviews, troubleshoots and approves operational quality desktops, notebooks, printers, and associated peripherals
- Installs, maintains and optimizes desktop /notebook configurations at customer sites supporting approximately 350 Nashville based consultants, as well as others remotely
- Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems
- Build and innovate technical solutions to better support team
- Performs maintenance and repair services
- Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations which may impact product performance
- Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system
- Drive between sites to service multiple locations (primary location address - 500 11th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37203, suite 500) secondary location is at 1400 Donelson Pike, Suites A02, A05, A08 and A10 as well as any other site locations close by
- Hours typically 8:30 - 5:30; but must flexible and able to come in early or stay late when required (minimal overtime incurred)
Basic Qualifications
- 3 years desktop support experience (iOS and WIndows)
Additional skills
- A Certification
- 1 years video conference room support experience (Logitech Zoom devices) and Azulle digital signage
- IPAD, tvs, cellphones support experience
- Basic network troubleshooting skills
- Bachelors or Associates degree preferred
- Must have a proven customer service background, as well as a team player mindset
- Knowledgeable of Windows Operating System environment
- Must be able to comprehend and follow verbal and written technical instructions and scripts; analytical and problem solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Physically able to lift and move Enterprise and Client technology hardware in our customer environments
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong customer interaction skills including ability to interact with executives
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Strong work ethic
