We are currently seeking a Time and Labor Administrator to join our team in Herndon, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).
Responsibilities:
- Assists with the administration of Deltek Costpoint, Time & Expense timekeeping system.
- Works with team lead to endure timely and accurate submission of bi-weekly & semi-monthly time files for payroll processing.
- Assist in the computation of PTO semi-monthly, including holiday and vacation accruals.
- Processes employees and subcontractors' timesheets and labor corrections in an ongoing and timely basis.
- Performs various timesheet audits, including pay types, missing timesheets, and leave for compliance.
- Provides basic guidance to employees and managers on timesheet polices.
- Works with employees and managers to finalize timesheets each timesheet period.
- Identifies and resolves basic timekeeping discrepancies that require timesheet corrections.
- Exports/imports timesheets from Time & Expense to Costpoint
- Reviews timesheet hours/cost in Costpoint for accuracy
- Accurately processes employees and subcontractors' timesheets and post labor.
- Reconciles labor distribution to payroll, including researching and resolving discrepancies and variances.
- Monitors questions sent to Time & Labor mailbox and work closely with employees and managers to resolve issues.
Basic requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting, business, or administrative experience
- Must be a US Citizen
Preferred qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or some college work
- Basic knowledge of relevant labor accounting practices and principles
- Basic data analysis skills
- Basic knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products
