Assistant Manager/General Manager

Overview:
We are looking for an assistant with enthusiasm for learning the process and training to quickly become the GM of the location. This concept is designed to develop multiple locations in the short term are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry and hospitality.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant
- Interview, hire, train, and supervise staff members
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Implement and enforce food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to maintain high-quality food standards
- Coordinate and oversee banquet events
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment

Experience:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or hospitality management is required
- Strong knowledge of food industry trends and best practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial reporting
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
