VP of Operations

Job Title: Vice President of Operations – NuAge Builders

Company Overview: We are a commercial general contractor located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and are seeking an experienced individual to join our team as the Vice President of Operations.

Position Overview: Reporting directly to the President, the Vice President of Operations will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence. This individual will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day internal operations, implementing systems and processes to improve efficiency, and serving as the Integrator to ensure alignment and execution of the company's vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures across all departments to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior executives to develop and execute strategic plans for the company's growth and expansion.
• Monitor and manage the company's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
• Build and lead a high-performing operations team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to department heads and employees.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of operational initiatives and regularly review performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring that goods and services are delivered on time and within budget.
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, encouraging employees to identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations or Constructions Management, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior operations role within the construction industry.
• Proven track record of success in implementing the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) or similar business management frameworks.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on results.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
