Job Description:
As a Barback at Nucky's Speakeasy, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations behind the bar and delivering exceptional service to our guests. Working closely with bartenders and other team members, you will contribute to creating an unforgettable experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash bar dishes, utensils, and glassware promptly and efficiently.
- Properly store cleaned items in designated areas.
- Polish glasses and ensure they are sparkling clean for use.
- Assist bartenders in pouring and preparing drinks as needed.
- Greet customers warmly and hand out menus upon their arrival.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar area, including light cleaning tasks.
- Bus tables and clear empty glasses and bottles to maintain a tidy environment.
- Stock the bar with necessary supplies, including beverages, garnishes, and napkins.
- Clean and organize bottles and other bar equipment.
- Assist with various tasks as assigned by bartenders or management to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a barback or similar role preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from bartenders and other staff members.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to stand and bend for up to 8 hours.
