Job Description

At Nucleus, we think big and drive results. We are looking for a VP of Strategy & Operations to guide our executive leadership team toward success, working together across all areas of the business to drive results and deliver an exceptional client experience. This is a client-facing role that will require high-level strategic thinking and day-to-day execution.

Strategic Planning

• The VP of Strategy & Operations will be responsible for researching, implementing, and managing one or more strategic initiatives at Nucleus Healthcare. This will include investigating value propositions associated with human capital or corporate acquisitions, introducing new ideas to markets, expanding into large enterprise companies, and supporting the successful execution of client accounts.
• The VP must have the ability to build, scale, and deliver cutting edge solutions, while working cross-functionally across various departments.

Execution

• The VP of Strategy & Operations will work with leaders across the organization to ensure strategic business plans are successfully executed in the workplace.
• The VP of Strategy & Operations will oversee the creation and analysis of business metrics and reporting collected at the financial and project levels to verify objectives are progressing as planned, and to direct additional actions to be taken when problems or risks are identified.

Financial Performance

• The VP of Strategy & Operations will partner with the Chief Financial Officer and members of the executive team to evaluate the current financial performance of the company and identify specific areas in need of improvement.
• The VP will be responsible for preparing and presenting future project proposals to the executive team, highlighting how new business opportunities are expected to promote sustainable business growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate-level education, with a master's degree in business administration preferred
• 10 years of experience in an executive leadership position
• Highly organized with strong project management skills and a proven background successfully leading teams in strategic planning, scaling new initiatives, and managing multiple lines of a business
• A willingness to lead a team and develop top talent in the industry
• Ability to get buy-in from multiple stakeholders across complex projects
• Expertise in the Healthcare and Human Capital industries
• Exceptional communication skills, with experience giving presentations to all levels of a corporation
• Previous experience working directly with C-Suite executives and board of directors
• Dedication and passion for the Nucleus Healthcare mission
• Located in or willing to relocate to the Philadelphia area
