Basic Job Functions:
- Hang hooks on the moving line
- Ensure that the beams and frames are orderly hanged on the rotating line
- Inspect and report any paint damages
- Bundle the material that is going to be shipped
- Tagging the finished products to prepare for shipments
- Load the material that needs to be painted
- Offload the finished material from moving line; the employees are always rotating positions and can be moving/lifting/tugging up to 50lbs.
- Must use the overhead crane to bundle the finished frames
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent.
- Must possess the ability to work with hand tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experiences working within a manufacturing company.
- Bilingual - English and Spanish Speaking
