Nude Foods Market is an innovative, industry-changing startup that’s destined for big things. We are hiring an assistant manager and are looking for candidates with retail experience (especially natural grocery) who are ready for an opportunity like they’ve never had before.
As with any startup, this role involves on-the-ground, ‘getting your hands dirty’ work, as well as creativity and visionary influence on the organization’s operations and future. This role includes:
MANAGING AND GROWING A TEAM
- Taking the lead with our training processes and execution, as well as contributing to recruiting and candidate selection
- Responsible for delegating tasks to FOH team and ensuring completion
- Developing employees’ skills and strengths
SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES
- Helping design and implement more efficient, effective and scalable systems and processes to run the store
- This uncommon, blank slate is an opportunity to work with fewer limits, think creatively and own successful outcomes
CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Welcoming customers like long-lost friends and training the team to do the same. - Being available to answer questions as well as giving the team the information, support and skills to do the same

STORE EXPERIENCE- Obsessive about tidiness
- Obsessive about customer service
- Implementing and maintaining visual merchandising standards; featuring various categories to support sales
- Assisting with store redesigns
- Restocking and ensuring sufficient product levels on the floor
- Maintaining pricing, signage and product tags
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent communication skills
- Retail management, natural-grocery experience a plus
- Experience managing people is essential
- Not afraid to get your hands dirty and take on whatever task needs to be done
- Problem solving. We’re a startup and we’re constantly growing and changing. We need someone highly adaptable who can help us handle new problems as they arise and quickly come up with solutions.
