We are looking for someone with experience with coffee or juices/smoothies who works well under pressure and loves providing outstanding guest service. Our baristas/checkers provide a world-class service experience at Nugget Market. We create “wow” moments by going above and beyond service expectations every day. Barista/Checkers interact with diverse guests while being courteous and professional in a fun atmosphere. Starting wage is $18.50/hour based upon experience.

Responsibilities
Our barista's primary responsibilities are sharing product knowledge and promoting the department's items while providing world-class service to our guests. This includes creating fresh-squeezed juices, whole-fruit smoothies and gourmet coffee beverages to order while maintaining a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment. In addition, the baristas will operate a cash register and occasionally ring up grocery items.
Qualifications
You should meet the following requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to memorize and quickly recall information
- Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules and signage
- Basic problem solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have sufficient mathematical skills to operate a cash register, provide proper change and correct errors
- A positive and outgoing personality is a must!
