What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst position at Numerator?
Numerator is currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join the FP&A Team, reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting & Systems. This multi-department facing position will offer opportunities to drive better business partnering and insights, while also growing your communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with all business functions in the reporting and planning processes and deliver value-added analysis to our stakeholders. You must have a love for numbers and problem-solving and want to make a positive impact with your work. The ideal candidate is somebody who is very organized, has strong communication skills, and works with data to find answers to key questions.
What You Get to Do:
- Assist the CFO and Finance team in key business projects and initiatives
- Create and disseminate internal and external financial reports, including a core monthly reporting package, budget variance reports, ARR customer data and revenue files
- Learn and effectively utilize our financial systems, including but not limited to, NetSuite, Salesforce.com, Adaptive Insights and OneStream
- Import monthly financial data and quarterly forecast data into OneStream
- Build and maintain a vendor database to assist with budgets and procurement strategies
- Assist in monthly re-forecasts, forecast modeling, and report building using cloud-based tools
- Develop and use modeling skills to support data-driven decision making
- Provide operational analysis and reporting designed to drive increased awareness into departmental and total company performance
- Provide support to other Finance team members and departments as needed
- Other duties as assigned, including M&A integration support
