Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient's condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and document patient's vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation
- Experience with Cerner or similar electronic health record (EHR) system
- Ability to perform procedures such as spinal taps, sutures, and medication administration
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and interventions
- Familiarity with esthetic laser treatment procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations with composure
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
