Requirements of the Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Preferably, at least 1 year of HHA experience
- Valid HHA certification
- CPR certification
- Liability Ins
- Level 2 background check
- Doctor's Physical and TB record
- CEU's (HIV, HIPAA, Abuse & Neglect ,Patient Rights, Alzheimer's, Domestic Violence, Assisting with Medication) CAN ALSO DO IN THE OFFICE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE
- Empathetic approach towards clients' needs
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Ensures strict confidentiality and security of client medical information
Responsibilities of the Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Provide exceptional care to residents
- Execute designated procedures and initiatives effectively
- Collaborate with departmental and cross-departmental teams
- Report relevant information to immediate supervisors
- Promptly respond to inquiries and information requests
- Support departmental operations as directed by supervisors
- Maintain up-to-date State ID, CPR Card, and Physical documentation
- Tasks may include but are not limited to meal assistance, respite care, companionship, light housekeeping, and other such services.
