POSITION SUMMARY:
Supervises film library staff and all day-to-day operations of file rooms at Client. Assists physicians, technologists and patients with the retrieval, filing and creation of copying images onto CDs/DVDs. Also responsible for processing all Life Image duties between BMC and outside facilities.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
1. Ensures policies and procedures are in place to provide quality services.
2. Supervises staff to ensure that day to day operations flow efficiently, without delaying patient care.
3. Receives Life Image exams on portal and in person to process and upload into PACS for Radiologists and requesting providers to use for secondary reads or comparison imaging for proper patient care follow through according to established policies and procedures.
4. Supervises RIS workflow to check that all comparison and secondary reads are being processed and read by Radiologist timely.

5. Ensures policy, protocol and staffing is appropriate for all operational hours. Workload and demands of the file room must be performed professionally and attentively during all hours of operations within the Radiology Department.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift

Work Location: On the road
