Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and support within our medical facility.
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform patient assessments and provide appropriate nursing interventions
- Assist with medical procedures such as catheterization, spinal taps, and dialysis
- Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to healthcare providers
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Provide care in various settings including medical-surgical units, ICUs, and medical offices
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice
- Proficiency in patient assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience in infectious disease care and maintaining infection control standards
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding and medical terminology
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
