What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Operating Room position at Nurses PRN?

The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for aiding surgeons in the OR. OR Nurses will prep the room and the patient for surgery and make sure that all equipment is clean and operating correctly.ResponsibilitiesOperating Room Registered Nurse duties include: Analyzing the well being of the patient before, during and after the operation. Predict the needs of the surgeons and give medical instruments and medical supplies to them during procedures. Preserving and labeling the items needed for laboratory examinations. RequirementsOne year of experience as an OR RN within the past two years. Active Nursing License in good standing. Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association. Negative Drug Screen.

Salary : $1,450 - $1,800
