Technical Project Manager
MUST RESIDE IN MICHIGAN
Dearborn (Hybrid) 3 onsite/ 2 remote

Our company is searching for a Technical Project Manager who will be responsible for providing project planning and management for established initiatives within the company. They ensure that projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget. They use their industry expertise to improve all aspects of project planning and resource management.
Position Responsibilities
- Analyze, plan, and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
- Assign duties and responsibilities and oversees workflow of project staff
- Manage assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project
- Develop, maintain, and revise proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing
- Set and track project milestones; manage and account for unforeseen delays, then realign schedules and expectations, as needed
- Maintain project communications, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders
- Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends, as needed, to prepare project status reports
- Hold regular team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
- Manage vendors, budget, and work collaboratively with Technical and Sourcing Teams
- Producing Project Documentation including final system documentation and policies
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skill Sets / Education & Experience
Required
An ideal candidate would have 1) a passion for technology and a desire to use technology to improve operations and customer/employee experience; 2) empathy and experience working with coworkers from diverse backgrounds 3) the ability to present information in an insightful and structured manner.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Information System Management, or Business with technical experience
- 3 years of Project Management experience
- Professional Project Management Certification a plus
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
- Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and running Project Teams
- Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
- Experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry
- Previous experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft O365, and Microsoft Office Suite a plus
Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
