Assistant Plant Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The Assistant Plant Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, implementing process improvements, and maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, continuous improvement, and supply chain management.

Duties:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and improve overall efficiency
- Monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee quality control procedures to maintain high-quality standards
- Manage and mentor a team of production staff, providing guidance and support
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and manage inventory levels
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement new technologies or equipment
- Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes
- Proven experience in process improvement and implementing lean manufacturing principles
- Excellent mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and optimize production equipment
- Proficient in quality control procedures and ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Solid understanding of production management principles, including capacity planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions for process optimization
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience in supply chain management, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics
