Stationary Engineer/Power Engineer - 2nd Class - (Lanigan, Saskatchewan, Canada)

This position reports to the Site Services Supervisor.
What you will do:
- Operate and maintain all steam plant equipment and systems
- Operate and maintain compressed air, fire water, mill water, and potable water systems
- Understand and abide by the collective bargaining agreement and relevant regulations
- Perform normal shift duties, including associated utility and operational work
What you will bring:
- Valid Second-Class Power/Steam Engineer Certificate for the Province of Saskatchewan
- Level 2 Water Treatment and Water Distribution Certification is required within a year of hire. Possession of Certification is considered an asset.
- 5 years of progressive experience in a plant operation environment with exposure to production, maintenance, safety, environmental compliance, and administration
- Excellent understanding of all the process equipment in the area of process water, compressed air, refrigeration, ventilation, water treatment for the boilers, heating, and cooling
- Ability to interact positively with other crew members and supervisors
- Must be able to work independently while on shift work and make and implement technical decisions
