Summary:
The position of Real Estate and Property Management provides operational management of all daily real estate and property management functions across Nuvance Health in accordance with regulatory guidelines. The span of control of this position includes Real Estate Managers, Property Managers, and outsourced staff.

Responsibilities:
Develops annual operating and capital budgets based on organization objectives and solid analysis. Assists the organization in evaluating and prioritizing lease and property acquisition opportunities with statistical data.

Partners with key stakeholders to understand their business plans and how to align those needs with the current real estate portfolio by providing a market analysis.

Responsible for the management of partners to ensure their work and reporting is meeting the needs of Nuvance Health.

Establishes and maintains effective leadership within span of control through effective recruitment, selection, timely performance assessment and feedback, performance management, professional development, mentoring, and succession planning. Re-organizes and re-structure job responsibilities of subordinate leaders as necessary to improve performance. Conducts regular operating reviews with subordinate management and finance staff. Promotes a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Oversees day-to-day operations within span of control, resolving problems as necessary, and ensuring that operations are efficient, compliant, safe, and of the highest possible quality. Optimizes management structures and workflows within span of control to continually improve quality and efficiency.

Establishs annual goals and measures of performance for functions within the span of control, including key financial metrics.

Complies with all Nuvance Health and affiliate policies and ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Maintains contemporary professional knowledge and education.

Maintains and models Nuvance Health values.

Performs other duties as required.

Education and Experience Requirements:
A master’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, public administration, or a related field is required.

Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare operations, or five (5) years of experience in planning and/or business development and/or Real Estate in the healthcare industry.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Excellent skills in de-escalation and conflict resolution

Strong organization, problem solving and time management skills.
