Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations — Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York — plus multiple primary and specialty care physician practices locations, including The Heart Center, a leading provider of cardiology care, and two urgent care offices. Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates, including the Thompson House for rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, and the Home Care organizations.
Performs imaging procedures and assists in the performance of interventional mammographic procedures on adult and geriatric patients. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as assigned. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide the appropriate care to the age of the patient served by the Department of Imaging Services. Performs imaging procedures in of the following areas: Diagnostic X-ray and Mammography.
Education: Requires two (2) years of college or technical training. General knowledge of a specialized or technical field normally associated with A.A. or A.S. degree. Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Experience: At least one year of experience in Radiology.
License: NYS Licensed Radiologic Technologist; American Registry of Radiologic Technology certified or eligible. Mammography Certification
