TITLE: Electronics Technician
LOCATION: Onsite in Bellevue, WA
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract-to-hire
PAY RANGE: $25-28/hr DOE

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking an Electronics Technician for a marine research instrument manufacturer which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in electronics troubleshooting looking to further their career.
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrate understanding of electronic theory and mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot, and/or repair instrumentation and components
- Develop and maintain Standard Work, daily management routines and goals
- Perform complex circuit board repairs that may include soldering, wiring, replacement of inoperative electrical and/or mechanical parts
- Help support a teamwork-oriented culture to ensure that all service to customer- or company-owned equipment is completed correctly according to specification, efficiently, and on time
- Quickly Cross-train on new tasks and new instrument families
- Use lean manufacturing concepts to help plan and execute continuous process improvements
Qualification Requirements:
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years of related work experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle, and Workday
- Ability to organize and manage time efficiently and effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Excellent attention to detail, and ability to perform precise procedures consistently
- Demonstrated working level of mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret advanced drawings, schematic, and wiring diagrams
- Demonstrated working knowledge of and ability to solder
- Ability to learn and use scientific and/or plotting software
- Able to problem solve, brainstorm, and provide corrective action
