Job Title: Healthcare Recruiter
Pay: $34-40/hr
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Location: Fully onsite - Tacoma, WA
Duration: Contract, at least 5 months
Responsibilities:
- Monitor HR emails, applicant tracking and screen applications/resumes for qualifications, respond as necessary and obtain additional candidate information as needed.
- Update and maintain job requisitions weekly
- Coordinate and conduct initial phone screen with qualified candidates including cultural screening questions.
- Schedule and coordinate applicant interviews with all involved participants, as requested.
- Prepare interview questions, tests and packets prior to scheduled interview.
- Conduct interviews and candidate testing, as needed or requested.
- Schedule candidate job shadows with all involved participants, as needed.
- Initiate reference and background checks for final candidates within one business day.
- Work with hiring manager and HR Team, on final selection of candidate.
- Collaborate with department supervisors to create a compensation package that is compatible with market related surveys and within department/position budget.
- Process necessary pre-hire paperwork.
- Verbally offer positions to qualified candidates
- Discuss and negotiate offer details with candidates
- Go through first day instructions with candidates
- Generate and send out offer letters
- Initiate new employee onboarding, schedule orientations, and prepare onboarding packets in HRIS system.
- Initiate First Week Schedule and notification email to supervisor.
- Research and recommend ways to refine and streamline recruiting processes, including providing alternate sourcing methods for obtaining qualified applicants.
- Respond to employee and applicant inquiries.
- Welcome new employees
- Provide new employee orientations and educate new employees on policies, procedures, processes, benefits and retirement programs.
- Review and obtain signature on documents
- Review HRIS timekeeping practices and shared drive.
- Obtain immunization records for Employee Health.
- Assist with processing new hire paperwork and maintain personnel files in HRIS system as needed.
