**This is a Government Contractor Travel Assignment for 2x Surgical RN with NUWEST**
This assignment is out of Shiprock, NM, for 2x Surgical RN’s Must meet the requirements listed under Must Haves in order to be considered for the assignment. This is a Clear to start Assignment, will not start until you pass backgrounds (6-8 Week average turnaround time). **Must be able to take a call & respond within 15 minutes once they are notified of a surgical case.**

Position: 2x Surgical RN’s
Location: Shiprock, NM
Duration: 26 Weeks (Option to Extend)
Hours: 40 hours
Shift: 5x8 (730a-4p) (M-F) (On-Call 4p-73oa Weekdays / 730-730 sat-M)
Start: Clear to Start
Pay Package
Weekly Pay Per Diem: $3,765 (up to)
Hourly Rate: $67
Per Diem Rates (Shiprock, NM) $1,085 Per Week
Lodging Per Diem: $96 per night (up to), $672 Per Week
Meals & Incidentals (M&IE): $59 Per day, $413 Per Week
Must Haves:
- RNLic Per state requirements (no hits)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (Active)
- Fully COVID Vaccinated
- US Citizen
Professional Nursing Skills: Required
- 2 years or more OR experience; ASPAN member a plus
- Associate RN Degree, Minimum
- Experience for General Surgery, ENT, Ortho, Oral Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedic, Podiatry, Pedi Dental and Endoscopy; scrubbing role skills a plus.
- Familiar with the AORNs standards, Infection Control, Safety and Joint Commission standards.
- Ability to function for a schedule surgical and emergency procedure.
- Ability to work with Electronic Health Record & Barcode Medication Administration Scanners
- Able to float to other departments upon completion of a float competency skills checklist.
- Ability & knowledge to learn the different types of equipment
