A GIS Analyst will work individually and as part of a team to support data production in an ArcMap, ArcPro, and Microstation environment; producing finalized data deliverables based on client requests. The Analyst has knowledge of all aspects of the workflow, performs rigorous QA/QC, assists in training others, leads efforts to improve task efficiencies and contributes to the tool management efforts.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in a professional GIS work environment
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
- Moderate knowledge of ESRI or vector-based software and TerraSolid products
- Takes ownership of work
- Demonstrates leadership in small groups
- Demonstrates strong understanding of task and project workflows
- Can maintain productivity while performing repetitive tasks
- Can work well within a team environment as well as independently with limited oversight
- Aptitude for learning multiple geospatial software programs
- Ability to learn from mistakes and take constructive criticism
- Ability to maintain a professional and positive demeanor in times of stress
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 year of technician or equivalent experience
- Master's degree, in geography, environmental studies/science, planning, or a related field with an emphasis in GIS
- Proficiency in ArcMap, MicroStation and PLS-CADD
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and changing priorities
- Attention to details and experience with QA/QC and data analysis
- Experience with or knowledge of:
- Geographical Information Systems
- Mapping or analysis using LiDAR
- Electrical Utilities: Distribution and Transmission (wire types, insulators, transformers)
