Responsibilities
NV5 is seeking an Landscape Architect for our team in Long Island, NY. The Project Landscape Architect would be expected to collaborate with our landscape architecture and civil engineering teams to develop design concepts and graphics, prepare presentations, technical contract documents, and other deliverables. The individual would be expected to coordinate and collaborate with clients and consultants, as well as lead project meetings and community presentations as required. Projects would include downtown streetscapes, suburban parks and recreational facilities, spray parks, ballfields, bicycle paths and trails, coastal resiliency, green infrastructure, wayfinding and interpretive signage, and roadway and highway reconstruction.
Qualifications
- MLA or BLA degree
- Licensed in Landscape Architecture or working towards licensure
- 5 years of design experience
- A portfolio of completed work that indicates an expertise in all aspects of the design process
- A firm understanding of AutoCAD and other design software utilized for visualization and design (e.g. Illustrator, InDesign, Lumion and Photoshop) will be necessary, though the candidate will not necessarily be expected to regularly utilize this software.

The pay for this position in New York is $75,000.00-$85,000.00; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
