Highway 92 Animal Hospital located in Woodstock, GA is looking to add veterinary professionals to our growing team!

We are in search of a full time veterinary receptionist/assistant.

About Us:

Highway 92 Animal Hospital is a 2 doctor growing practice with a comforting climate for clients, staff, and patients.

We are a full-service hospital offering everything from general wellness exams to tailoring treatment to every stage of life and each patient’s individual’s needs. We have in house digital radiography, cytology, in house laboratory, surgical suite, and state of the art dental equipment.

All members of our team take part in appropriate training and continual professional development to extend their expertise in the wide range of professional services. We love to continue enhancing our knowledge and skillset.

About You:

• You are a customer service oriented individual that understands the importance of maintaining a positive, respectful, uplifting hospital culture and genuinely love working with people that share that same value.
• You’re not afraid to jump in and get your feet wet! A hard worker who takes initiative and contributes to the operation of the entire hospital, you will help get all the day’s duties done!
• You can adapt to the individual needs of each patient, not afraid to ask questions, are eager to continue enhancing your skill set, and truly want to make a difference.
• You have a foundational understanding of small animal behavior/restraint (fear free training will be provided).
• A willingness to learn and/or can perform the basic responsibilities of a veterinary professional including (but not limited to):

o   Booking appointments for well visits, sick visits, surgery, boarding, grooming

o   Reading medical records

o   Filling prescriptions

o   Closing/end of day reporting

o   Taking payments

o   Managing phone calls

o   Responding to email

o   Handling online pharmacy prescriptions
