We are seeking experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians for our Surgery Department!

Our doctors perform a variety of surgeries including advanced soft-tissue, orthopedic, oncologic, neurologic, emergency, and cardio/thoracic.

Job Responsibilities:
- Admit surgical patients
- Fill out anesthesia checklist and drug sheets
- Draw up drugs/CRIs
- Place IVCs and run lab work
- Intubation
- Monitor anesthesia
- Post-op recovery
- Set up and clean ORs
- Pack Prep

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), holding a current North Carolina registration
- Minimum two years’ experience in veterinary medicine, of which one must be in Specialty or Emergency Medicine and surgery
- Must have two years’ experience with anesthesia
- Valid high school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of general surgical procedures and protocols
- Knowledge of advanced patient handling and restraint
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Be flexible and able to adapt to new situations
- Work well as part of a team
- Must be available to work on-call
- Weekend shifts are required
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the United States and have original, unexpired documents to verify eligibility.
