Join our team as a Maintenance/EH&S Coordinator to support our Hutchins Distribution Center on our 1st/Day Shift. In this position, you will get to: Coordinate, schedule, and assist in all necessary facility, equipment, and maintenance work in a manner that provides a minimum loss of production time. Includes vendor contacts; scheduling and monitoring vendors Notifies and works with Manager and other company personnel as necessary, to solve problems concerning equipment, materials, operations etc. Conducts general inspection of maintenance work to assure the desired results are achieved. Implementation of safety policies, safety training, accident investigations, record keeping and data analysis Coordinates 1st responder team; facilitation of medical care, documentation and follow up Chairs and leads monthly safety committee meetings and actions Coordinates effective modified work/light duty program Completes new hire training and support documentation The ideal candidate will have: A High School diploma, Trade School or Military training preferred. High level communication skills – verbal; written; ability to enter stats into the Safety Tracking System 3 years’ in safety coordinator position Prior work experience in a distribution environment Ability to read and interpret documents such as design drawings, blueprints, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.
