You will direct, organize and manage tasks related to maintenance of building and equipment. You will provide leadership to our maintenance team to ensure targets are achieved, perform regular inspections, and maintain equipment.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the long-term reliability, availability, and safety of assets for the facility in support of Distribution Center optimization.
Assign and/or execute routine and preventative maintenance on all Distribution Center equipment including but not limited to: forklifts, order pickers, stock chasers, conveyor system, pallet wrapper, carton taper and air compressor.
Drive reliability programs including predictive and preventive maintenance optimization, ensuring availability of spare parts, tools and equipment.
Assist and/or perform complex troubleshooting, modification, and repair of machinery and equipment.
Train technicians on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and repairs.
CMMS ownership
Assign and/or perform complex work on interior and exterior building/facilities equipment such as air compressors, HVAC units, lighting/fans, alarm systems and facilities restrooms.
Main contact for all facility service related suppliers (internal and external)
QUALIFICIATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Prior supervisory/managerial experience.
Ideally 10 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
Fork truck/fork lift operator experience a must.
Must be able to communicate effectively with other Team Leads, Supervisors and outside vendors regarding tech support and projects.
Strong troubleshooting skills necessary, with the ability to make informed decisions.
CMMS experience and solid computer skills.
Ability to access and understand PLC's..
