NW Employment Solutionsis partnered with a Veteran owned Manufacturing company in Sherwood, OR and we are looking to add Axis CNC Operators to join our team!

$23.00 staring | 5 openings ( day 6am-2:30pm / swing 2p-12:30a- $1.25 shift diff)

  • Proven experience as a CNC Operator (2 years’ experience is highly preferred)
  • Safely loads raw materials and sets up tools and fixturing
  • Must be able to interpret mechanical documents (Set up sheets), blueprints, and drawings
  • Mechanical aptitude and will require good math skills

Duties:

  • Check CNC machinery is in good working order before set up ·

Set up machinery to successfully conduct the run as specified

  • Conduct all programming as required
  • Monitor the run throughout the cycle, checking that specifications are met Perform all necessary machine maintenance·
  • Follow safety standards at all times ·
  • Report any safety or maintenance concerns to management immediately·
  • Keep all work areas clean and organized
  • Set up and program various tools and equipment to create, modify, or repair precision parts· During production, you must monitor the machinery and conduct regular quality checks to ensure they are running properly and that the parts are being produced according to specification.
