BASIC FUNCTIONS

The function of the Pressure Control Equipment Shop Hand is to work under the direction of the P.C.E. Supervisor for general shop duties as required for Nexus Energy Technologies.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

This position will primarily be in a shop environment and at times high noise levels.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Some Heavy Lifting Required. Long Periods on Feet. Safety Sensitive Environment Requiring Appropriate PPE.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Required

1. Mechanic experience

2. Valid Driver's License

3. Strong Communication Skills – Verbal and Written

Preferred

1. Knowledge of coil tubing and wireline products and terminology

2. Grade 12

3. 2 Year Relevant Experience in Oil & Gas Industry

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (?)

Responsibilities

1. Maintain the service/assembly shop and yard.

2. Keep the service/assembly shop and yard clean and free of safety hazards.

3. General Maintenance of shop equipment as per Nexus procedures.

4. Final preparation of equipment before shipping.

5. Support Shipping & Receiving in getting orders ready for shipping or unloading transports as required.

6. Assist in assembly of PCE equipment as instructed.

7. Assist in dis-assembly of PCE equipment as instructed.

8. Complete job traveler/work order sign offs and verifications as required.

9. Delivery or pickup of equipment or goods.

10. Maintain a positive influence on colleagues, clients, and staff.

11. Any other responsibilities as specifically designated by the P.C.E. Manager or P.C.E. Supervisor, from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour
