SUMMARY
NY Enrichment Group is seeking several Double Dutch/ Jump Rope teachers to lead classes aged 7-10 year old students for our charter school partners. The successful candidates will be supporting students in developing their techniques and building their skill sets. Instructors must be enthusiastic and exhibit a high degree of professionalism, a strong commitment to the communities we serve, and demonstrate the ability to motivate and educate. We are seeking a passionate, motivated, and creative professional that truly enjoys enriching the lives of children.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate Double Dutch classes that follow a social group work model
- Responsible for managing a classroom of 15-20 students
- Creating curriculum & lesson plans for each session.
- Establish clear objectives for all lessons, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students.
- Prep for classes: arriving 15 minutes to set up and prepare to start class on time.
- Clean up: must leave locations in the condition found, or cleaner.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with staff, parents, and scholars.
- Follow up after classes with NYEG Director of Operations.
- Maintain a positive, healthy, safe, supportive and welcoming environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Must have prior relevant performance experience
- Must have experience working with ages K-12
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- 1-2 years experience in Double Dutch Jump Rope
- Must be prepared, punctual and adaptable
- Candidate should be highly responsible, reliable, punctual, flexible, outspoken, honest, self-motivated, and work with integrity. This is an independent role, with little direct supervision.
- Candidate should be comfortable working with children, and comfortable working independently leading a class of students.
- Candidate should be a clear communicator, have a positive attitude, and be able to manage a classroom effectively.

- Every Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30am-12:00pm
