PROJECT/SYSTEM OVERVIEW:
- Build security dashboards that enable stakeholders to monitor agency security posture and make data-driven decisions.
- Coordinate project management efforts around third-party risk and application security.
- Develop policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to enhance the organization's overall security posture.
SCOPE OF WORK
High-level description of the need.
The scope of this project is to provide support for a centralized state cyber program that supports multiple agencies. The goal is to enhance the state’s overall security posture by implementing effective cyber program management practices under the direction of the Security, Risk and Compliance team.
SPECIFIC DELIVERABLES TO BE PROVIDED
Minimally, the following should be included:
- Deliverables and Services to be provided by each Consultant – Be specific and concrete.
- Provide the following services as directed:
- Support IT Security Staff, generating reports, statistics, policies and documentation.
- Create agency-level dashboards and build sustainable processes supporting vulnerability management and other relevant topics.
iii. Help project manage and define scopes of work for third party security reviews and application security.
- Department’s requirements for status reporting.
- The resource will work directly with senior members of the IT Security Staff taking ultimate direction from the CISO. If circumstances dictate, written status reports may be required.
- Documentation required from the Contractor (e.g, reports, manuals, analysis, or other documentation as required by the Department).
- Work products may include security dashboards, PowerPoint presentations, policy documents and other artifacts.
- Applicable technical standards required by the Department, along with Department policies and procedures.

REQUIRED CONSULTANT SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

The desired consultant should have:
- Not less than 4 years of IT experience.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Project management experience.
- Experience working on documentation, reports and procedures.
- Ability to take direction and work independently.
