QA Testing Specialist

Description

We are seeking QA Testing Specialists to join our team and help support our federal client’s mission to accelerate discovery and delivery of identity and network-based intelligence to counter national security threat actors by applying experience relevant in an intelligence domain and applies the knowledge to evaluate, make recommendations, implement, and oversee automated testing tools and strategies. The ideal candidate will be able to design and conduct testing and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met.

Duties:

• Evaluates, recommends, implements, and oversees automated test tools and strategies.
• Designs, implements, and conducts test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met.
• Designs, implements, and conducts regression testing procedures on new release versions as well as user-acceptance testing.
• Develops, maintains, and upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products. Also writes, implements, and reports status for system test cases for testing. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports.
• Serves as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications.
• Directs and/or participates in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection.
• Works with developers to improve code coverage, increasing it where coverage is missing as well as ensuring existing tests cover appropriate cases and are constructed/implemented correctly.

Required Skills

• Familiarity with Typescript and writing/designing tests in Typescript for both backend and frontend code.
• Experience with implementing and maintaining a CI/CD pipeline with automated test and code quality capabilities.

4 years of professional experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), OR related four-year STEM degree is required

Desired Skills

• Experience with SonarQube a plus.
• Experience with Playwright a strong plus.
