CNC Programmer

The CNC Programmer will be creating Numerical Control (NC) programs to support the machining of complex, precision metal components on multi-axis CNC milling machines. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Create NC (numerical control) programs for multi-axis vertical CNC Mills using Mastercam. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Determine methods, cutter types, and cutting parameters depending on a variety of materials and design specifications. Supporting the CNC roughing operators. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma Required Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with CNC machines Minimum of 2 years as a CNC programmer (3D) Ability to read and comprehend blueprints. Advanced knowledge of CNC G-Code. Experience with Plastic Injection Molding is a plus. Mastercam experience preferred. 5-axis experience preferred. Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Strong analytical problem-solving and planning skills. Proven ability to work independently as well as self-manage.
