RUSK Rehabilitation is recruiting for a full-time Brain Injury Medicine Specialist at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital. At NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital, Rusk Rehabilitation provides treatment, and rehabilitation of orthopedic, musculoskeletal, rheumatic, and neurological conditions, as well as other related diseases. In addition to our physiatrists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation nurses, and speech–language pathologists provide care for adults and children at this NYU Langone location.
The position requires provision of inpatient consult services, outpatient evaluation and follow up, and physiatry services in a Brain Injury sub-acute rehabilitation facility.
Candidates must be Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a current, active and unrestricted Medical Doctorate (MD) or Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) license to practice in NYU and a current DEA license. Fellowship training in brain injury preferred but not required. All candidates should have demonstrated interests in academics, research and teaching residents, students and fellows. Salary range: $225,000 - $235,000. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors.
