Position Description:

Working under the supervision of a Professional Engineer, a Civil Designer/Draftsperson assists with the preparation of project plans and specifications, cost estimates, and exhibits.

Experience drafting technical drawings utilizing AutoCAD, a strong work ethic, a desire to work in a production environment, and the ability to multi-task while paying close attention to detail is required. Experience working in AutoCAD Civil 3D, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a familiarity with plan-sets is required.

Projects include design development of municipal infrastructure, such as sewer, water, storm, grading, and transportation. Typical clients are private developers and local public agencies. To see some of our project experience, please visit the projects page of our website here.

The successful candidate will work in a collaborative atmosphere shared by drafters, designers, civil engineers, land surveyors, landscape architects, and planners. The firm’s primary objective is to utilize knowledge, creativity, vision, and sustainability as tools to produce superior and innovative design that satisfies client needs and improves communities.

Team members interact with each other, clients, contractors, and government agencies. Concise and clear communication skills are necessary for success.

Compensation:

Compensation for the position is based on education, knowledge, skills, attitude, and experience.

Salary Range: $37,440-$83,200

Position includes a generous benefit package with a 401k match and Incentive Compensation Bonus Program

Location:

This position will be staffed from our Fresno office.
