OE Meyer Co is looking for an Industrial Warehouse Clerk to join our team. We are seeking a dedicated warehouse professional who brings a high level of attention to detail. The ideal candidate values accuracy, accountability, organization, and can maintain a clean work area.
We are looking for a candidate who is efficient and quick, meets daily expectations and is able to multitask while maintaining organization and cleanliness of the warehouse. The candidate will also assist and backup the inside sales team when needed. The ideal candidate follows all company SOPs and has excellent punctuality and attendance.

Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and record goods as they arrive at the warehouse. Ensure all items are stored properly and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Order Processing: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment. Verify that items match order specifications and handle packaging materials efficiently.
- Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate the shipping and receiving of products, including preparing shipping documents and managing delivery schedules.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and receipts. Update and manage inventory databases as needed.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean and organized. Ensure that storage areas are well-maintained and comply with safety regulations.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects and report any issues to management. Ensure that all goods meet quality standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
- Customer Service: Address any inquiries related to order status or inventory and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Reports any major or unresolved shipment delays or issues to Purchasing Director
- Uses forklift and other moving equipment to transport shipments from the loading dock to specified locations
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks related to warehouse operations.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems and equipment operation (Forklift).
- Must be able to pass a drug test (paid for by the company)
- Experience with a stand-up forklift is a plus
- Inside Sales experience is a plus
- Able to work well with others
- Maintains a positive, friendly attitude, engaging with customers and employees
